Once upon a time

There lives a girl named Moon. At first glance, she seems all fair and square. She has the look, seems to know her alcohol preference (not tolerance), can speak about four....teen different hellos.

Lo and behold, her job is "roleplaying" - wait, there's more. The role being whomever the caller wants her to be. Now, before your mind wanders to some dim-lit places possibly with sticks and strings (what?!) her clienteles are actually pretty decent, and "daily".

A teenage girl who is bullied in school and just wants a friend, a mother who lost her daughter in a tragic incident, a guy who just wants to get his last words out to his ex, and... of course, the weirdos that always creep their way in somehow...

Hiding out in her antiquated work studio with her only friend giant teddy bear "Chris Andersen", Moon's one life goal is to rake enough money from the "emotional-devastee" so that she can flee to her "haven" in Denmark, Kopenhavn, where she truly seems to believe she will find her happily ever after, much like all the fairytales she read and collected ever since she was orphaned.

For Moon, her knight in shining armour arrives in a package deal: decent sum of cash from... (drumroll) a young terminal cancer patient requesting only four calls every week ending exactly at midnight.

Ah, but here is the catch - Moon has to be the girlfriend on the receiving end of this sad news so that he can rehearse saying good-bye to his real one. Torn between her desire for fast cash and her absolute disgust for playing any relationship role, she submits to the more logical choice - yes, ca$h.

And thus begins the most unlikely union of the two: the emotionally impaired Baek who is on the verge of burning every bridge around, and Moon the emotionally exhausted who just wants to run to the first exit she can find.

Will they ever get to"bridge the gap"?
